Cephalosporin and Penems are widely used beta-lactam antibiotics that require completely separate and dedicated facility to be manufactured, BEACON Cephalosporin PLC, being considered among the most technologically advanced cephalosporin plants of the country, is spread over an area of 3 acres of land in Baluka, Mymensingh (79 km North of Dhaka).
About Cephalosporin and Penem facilities
- Separate & restricted floor for manufacturing Cepha & Penem products to prevent cross contamination.
- Integrated inline machine, like vial washing, drying, filling, capping and labeling for production of injectables.
- World Class Materials: API from Fresenius Kabi, Italy, Glass Vial from Ompi, Italy and Rubber Closure from Datwyler, Belgium.
- Capsule filling machine is incorporated with the latest metal detector CEIA, Germany that ensures highest safety for the patients.
- 1st time in Bangladesh using CEP certified capsule shell and 4 layer Aluminum foil.
- Having Nitrogen purging facility to prevent oxidation of suspension.
