Bilanex 20

Bilanex 20 is a preparation of Bilastine. It is a second generation, long lasting H1-receptor antagonist (antihistamine). Bilanex 20 blocks the H1 receptor and thus prevents activation of cells by histamine in GI tract, large blood vessels and bronchial smooth muscle. This leads to relief of allergic symptoms. Bilanex 20 does not enter the brain from blood and therefore, does not cause drowsiness.
