Lubilax (Lubiprostone) is a locally acting chloride channel activator used for the treatment of all types of constipation. It works by stimulating intestinal fluid secretion through activation of ClC-2 chloride channels, which softens stool, increases intestinal motility, and facilitates bowel movements.
