Starcef

Cefixime is an oral antibiotic from the cephalosporin group used to treat different bacterial infections such as throat infections, respiratory infections like bronchitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, ear infections, and sometimes typhoid fever. It works by damaging the bacterial cell wall, which kills the bacteria and stops the infection from spreading. It is usually taken once or twice daily, with or without food, depending on the doctor’s advice.
