Tetrazin
Tetrabenazine is a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor belonging to the therapeutic class of monoamine depletors or VMAT2 inhibitors. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of hyperkinetic movement disorders like chorea, tics, myoclonus, ballism, athetosis and Tourette syndrome. It is also used for tardive dyskinesia an adverse effect of long-term antipsychotic use.
