Xolitra
Flupentixol and Melitracen is a fixed-dose combination of a thioxanthene antipsychotic Flupentixol and a tricyclic antidepressant Melitracen. It is indicated for the treatment of anxiety, depression, asthenia, and mixed anxiety-depressive disorders, particularly when accompanied by apathy or psychosomatic symptoms.
The low-dose combination provides rapid onset of anxiolytic, antidepressant, and activating effects through synergistic action, offering good efficacy for mild-to-moderate cases with relatively fewer side effects than higher-dose individual agents.
