Zerotil Plus

Cefuroxime + Clavulanic acid is a combination medicine used to treat bacterial infections more effectively, especially when bacteria are resistant to standard antibiotics. Cefuroxime kills bacteria by disrupting their cell wall formation, while clavulanic acid does not kill bacteria directly but blocks enzymes (beta-lactamases) that some bacteria produce to resist antibiotics.

This combination is commonly used for respiratory tract infections (like pneumonia and bronchitis), sinusitis, ear infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. It is usually taken after food to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset.
