Jaktor (Tofacitinib) is an oral small-molecule medication that belongs to the class of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors used to treat autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and ulcerative colitis. It works by modulating the immune system and reducing inflammation.Tofacitinib inhibits JAK enzymes (mainly JAK1 and JAK3), which are involved in signaling pathways for various cytokines.
