Ursotab
Ursotab (Ursodeoxycholic Acid) is a hydrophilic bile acid that improves bile flow, reduces cholesterol in bile, and protects liver cells from damage. It is mainly used in cholestatic liver diseases like primary biliary cholangitis and for dissolution of small cholesterol gallstones. UDCA is well tolerated and helps improve liver function and reduce symptoms such as itching in bile flow disorders.
